The show stars Rosario Dawson in the main role. The legendary villain Thrawn will be played by Lars Mikkelsen. Natasha Liu Bordizzo is cast as the young Mandalorian Sabine Wren. Mary Elizabeth Winstead will play the Twi’lek resistance leader turned general Hera Syndulla. We will also see David Tennant, Ray Stevenson, and Diana Lee Inosanto on the screen.
But most excitingly, perhaps, is that Hayden Christensen has signed on to return to his most iconic role in the Star Wars shows: Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader.
Star Wars: Where does Ahsoka fit in the timeline?
The Ahsoka show takes place five years after the events of Return of the Jedi and following the end of season two of The Mandalorian. After The Battle of Andor, the Empire has fallen. Let by Chancellor Mon Mothma, the New Republic has been established.
